eEnergy Welcomes Our First Apprentice: Emily Begins Her Journey to Net Zero.

At eEnergy, we’re excited to announce the appointment of Emily as our first-ever apprentice, marking a significant step in our commitment to fostering young talent and promoting sustainable energy solutions. Emily joins us as part of our Operations team, where she will play an important role in helping us deliver on lighting and EV projects, contributing to our clients’ journeys to Net Zero.

Emily brings a fresh perspective and a strong enthusiasm for learning. Originally pursuing a career in sports coaching, Emily realised that her passion lay elsewhere and seized the opportunity at eEnergy to explore a new career path. Reflecting on her new role, Emily says:

“I’m really enjoying my time at eEnergy. The team has been incredibly supportive, and I feel like I’ve hit the ground running. I’m excited to continue learning both on the job and through my college studies, which start in October. I look forward to a long career here.”

Chris Poulton, Emily’s line manager and a driving force behind the apprenticeship programme, emphasised the importance of investing in young talent for the future of the energy sector. He said:

“As a business, we believe in nurturing the next generation to drive the Net Zero agenda forward. Apprenticeships allow us to do just that, giving young people hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow with our company. We’re thrilled to have Emily on board and look forward to seeing her progress in the months ahead.”

Emily will be working closely with our experienced project coordinators, who have a combined 57 years of industry experience, and will be undertaking a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship at South Essex College. With her bright and enthusiastic personality, she’s already fitting in perfectly with the team.

This new apprenticeship initiative is part of our strategy to invest in the future workforce, ensuring we continue to deliver innovative digital energy services and support our clients’ Net Zero ambitions.
